Training Tailored to Build Up our Youth

I learned about Lion’s Pride Wellness Center when they collaborated with my sons JR High School to provide Olympic Weight Lifting as a sport! This has been a refuge for my son! The staff are amazing and I LOVE the feeling of community. I also utilized a few of the one on one coaching sessions with John (my son works with Coach David) and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Our youth training program is catered to kids between the ages of 10 – 17. We are parents, so we understand the challenges that go along with the pre-teen and teenage years. By offering a safe mentor-focused space to better themselves physically, mentally and emotionally, our youth succeed in wellness and in life.

Olympic Weightlifting (OLY) is a registered sport through USA Weightlifting and is effective in our youth. By building strength, power, mobility, and coordinating movements, our students learn exercise progressions related to the ‘Clean & Jerk’ and the ‘Snatch’, as well as learning how to listen to their bodies and prevent injury. OLY is an effective method of training to enhance sports-related athletic performance.

Lion’s Pride Youth Training offers two paths – based on short-term and long-term interest. If you aren’t sure your son/daughter will enjoy it, we have a TRIAL CLASS for $25, so you can try before you buy:

LPW Youth Training

Tailored toward the students looking for year round support from our facility. Students will be trained classically for the sport of Olympic Weightlifting but learn methodologies geared towards helping them build habits that will instill healthy life practices. We want to create a community of strong young people who support each other through quality movement and teamwork.

Pricing: $165 Month + tax (1- Year Commitment)  |  $ 2,118.60 if paid up front

Monday, Wednesday, Friday  |  3:30 pm – 5:00 pm or 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Tuesday, Thursday  |  5:00 pm- 6:300 pm
Saturday  |  9:00 am – 10:30 am or 10:00 am – 11:30 am

SEASONAL – LPW Youth Training

This four-month training program is an introduction to fitness and Olympic Weightlifting for students age 10-17, as well as mentorship and community building. Mobility, movement and mental training will be the focus of learning the OLY lifts, accessory strength work and agility exercises will be utilized. Training is tailored toward the students who seek course credit. Therefore, the students are required to attend 3 classes a week.

Pricing: $ 255 Monthly (4 Months)  |  $ 990 if paid up front ($40 off)
