Training Tailored to Build Up our Youth

Olympic weightlifting (OLY) is a registered sport through USA Weightlifting and is effective in our youth. By building strength, power, mobility, and coordinating movements, our students learn exercise progressions related to the ‘Clean & Jerk’ and the ‘Snatch’, as well as learning how to listen to their bodies and prevent injury. OLY is an effective method of training to enhance sports-related athletic performance.

Lion’s Pride Youth Weightlifting offers two different options for training:

LPW Youth Team

Tailored toward the students looking for year round support from our facility. Students will be trained classically for the sport of Olympic Weightlifting but learn methodologies geared towards helping them build habits that will instill healthy life practices. We want to create a community of strong young people who support each other through quality movement and teamwork.

Pricing: $165 Monthly (1- Year Commitment)  |  $ 2,118 if paid up front

Class Times:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday  |  3:30 pm – 5:00 pm or 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Tuesday, Thursday  |  5:00 pm- 7:00 pm
Saturday  |  9:00 am – 10:30 am or 10:00 am – 12:00 pm


This four month training program is an introduction to Olympic Weightlifting for students age 10-17. Mobility, movement and mental training will be the focus of learning the OLY lifts, accessory strength work and agility exercises will be utilized. Training is tailored toward the students who seek course credit. Therefore, the students are required to attend 3 classes a week.
